Alvaros Mallacht

Alvaros was born a fae. A princely womanizer in his youth, he withdrew from society for years to study the arcane crystals, which he would later use to invent arcane magic. Reconvening with his fellow Fae Lords of the Faerie Court, he proposed using their collective crystals as weapons to create an interdimensional empire but was met only with condemnation or derision. In response, Alvaros summoned an army made by his magic to conquer the other kingdoms of their land and obtain their crystals. The war lasted centuries. Nearing victory, Alvaros was suddenly defeated by a group of heroes.

With his defeat, Alvaros was stripped of his powers and was imprisoned within a magic grimoire, containing both his soul and his powerful abilities.
